Assigning and registering remote I/O numbers

A remote I/O map (I/O numbers which are allocated for the remote I/O system [MEWNET-F]) can be
registered in the CPU.
If regsitering a remote I/O map,
-Even if there is a slave station which is not activated when the master unit is turned on, the remote I/O
map (remote I/O number allocation) will not be changed.
It is possible to wait to execute a program until all slave stations are turned on.
When you use the tool software, I/O numbers can be allocated arbitrarily.
-When you plan to add slave stations in future, you can allocate I/O numbers for them ahead of time.
-When a large number of remote I/Os are controlled, the memory area used for remote I/O control can
be expanded.

Setting method

To register a remote I/O map, use a programming tool.
Use the FP programmer. (only when registering by the automatic allocation)
OP-52 operation
Use a tool software.
Remote I/O allocation
Note) Refer to the operation manuals for each programming tools.

Example of I/O allocation

[When you plan to add a slave station number 2 (uses 80 I/O points)]

The left figure is an example allocating
remote I/O numbers arbitrarily.

It is also possible to change the base
word number (default: 64).

The area, 680 to 72F is not used
(which is used for the slave station
number 2 to be added).The area, 680
to 72F, will be allocated when the
slave station number 2 is added.

Once a remote I/O map has been
registered, for example, the slave
station number 4 is always controlled
in the areas, X750 to X75F and Y760
to Y76F.

Key Point:

An I/O map will be backed up once it has been registered.
The I/O map will be accepted when the master station system is turned on. Therefore, the operation
according to the regsitered map will be performed when the power is turned on next time.
