Chapter 8: CentreWare DP 1.1 Software Instructions

Once these parameters are set, you can choose a device from the
Printers List and monitor or verify it's hardware configuration.

Upgrade Printer

When Upgrade printer is selected, you may upgrade the revision of
your printer and firmware. This requires a file supplied specifically
for your printer. Once selected, you will be prompted for the
location of this file and CentreWare DP will automatically
download the file to your printer.

Fonts

•

PCL tab

Shows resident PCL fonts.

•

PostScript tab

Shows resident PostScript fonts and PostScript fonts
downloaded to RAM or the Hard Disk Drive.

PostScript fonts may be downloaded to printer memory for
temporary storage as TrueType or bitmap objects. If your printer is
equipped with a Hard Disk Drive, you may also download
PostScript fonts to it for permanent storage.

Send File

When Send File is selected, the user will be prompted for a file
name to output to the selected printer. The CentreWare DP
application will then download the file to the printer for printing.
