DP Technical Information Guide

-

Subnet Mask

Enter the Subnet Mask of the network that your print
will reside on. The valid range is between 0 - 255.

-

Default Gateway

Enter the address of the default gateway for this printer.
The valid range is between 0 -255 and must follow IP
addressing conventions.

-

LPR PDL

Used to select the default page description language for
the LPR port. This will enable jobs that do not contain an
explicit PDL identifier to be printed in the selected
language.

-

AppSocket PDL

Used to select the default page description language for
the AppSocket port. This will enable jobs that do not
contain an explicit PDL identifier to be printed in the
selected language.

Use these check boxes to Enable or Disable TCP/IP options.

Enable Banner Page

Check this box to enable LPR Banner page printing.

-

Enable LPR

Check this box to enable LPR printing to the printer.

-

Enable AppSocket

Check this box to enable connections via the AppSocket.
AppSocket can be used for sending print files to and is
used by CentreWare DP for downloading fonts, files and
printer upgrade files in TCP/IP.

HTTP Enable

Check this box to enable downloading print jobs and
files via HTTP.
