— Paper tab
This tab allows you to view the paper size, paper type and
amount of paper left for each tray.
- Paper Size
Shows the paper size in each tray. All trays except
Multi-Sheet Bypass Feeder (MBF) and Envelope Feeder
sense the paper size in the tray. A valid paper size can be
entered for the MBF or Envelope Feeder.
- Paper Type
Shows the present paper type assigned to each tray. This
should be configured according to which paper type will
be loaded in each tray of this printer. This allows the
Printer Drivers to select the type of paper they wish to
print on. A different paper type can be assigned to a tray
from the drop down list.
- Level
This entry will display the amount of paper remaining in
the tray or feeder in increments of 25%.
- Tray Sequence
Use this pull down menu to define the order in which
trays are used when more than one tray meets the paper
size and paper type requirements.
- User Paper Types
Select this option to add or modify unique paper types to
the five User Definable types which then can be selected
using Paper Type above.
