DP Technical Information Guide

•

Connections Properties Dialog

— NetWare tab

This tab provides information about the NetWare
configuration of the selected printer.

Use Setup Wizard or Advanced Setup to configure the
read-only settings.

NetWare Enabled

Selecting this check box enables the printer
communicate to the NetWare file servers and to print
NetWare jobs.

Print Server Name

Displays the assigned Print Server name for your printer.

Primary Server

Displays the name of the Preferred file server to which
your printer will log in when running on a NetWare 3.1x
network.

NDS Tree

Displays the name of the NetWare Directory Services
tree to which your printer will log in.

NDS Context

Displays the NDS Context in which your printer resides.

Frame Type

You may view or change the current frame type your
printer uses for logging into a NetWare server. You must
select the frame type that matches your network. If you
are not sure, select Auto.
