5.2.4. Setting Polarity (A or B contact) of Input Ports

Setting Example

Set the polarity of the EMST (emergency stop) input port to B contact.
(i) Press the code key while holding down the SHIFT key.

(ii) Input the command to read the setting of the AB parameter. Check the present polarity
setting (in this example, all the input ports are set to A contact.)

(iii) Input the password.

(iv) The second bit following AB represents EMST. Set this bit to “1”, and the other bits to
“X” (no change).
