2.4 Image Capture Shutdown Procedure
2.4.1 Usual finishing of operation

When the image capture and data saving procedures are complete, return to the anterior
eye observation screen, then press the shutdown button
.
The shut down confirmation message
appears in the middle of the screen.

Press YES in the shutdown confirmation
message.
The software shutdown screen appears.
When the software is shut down, the shut-
down complete message appears.
About 20 seconds are required until the
shutdown complete message appears.

Turn off ( ) the power to the device.

Attach the cap on the objective lens.

Clean all parts (such as the chinrest and
forehead rest) that came into contact with
the patients.

Place the dust cover on the device and store
in clean conditions.
CAUTION
• When turning off power to the device, do not turn off ( ) the power switch first. Be
sure to follow the procedure described here.
If the power switch is turned off ( ) first without following this procedure, data or soft-
ware in the device may become corrupted or the device may fail.
• When a USB flash drive is used, be sure to remove it after performing the procedure
described in “3.1.1 Connection, disconnection, and use of USB flash drive” (Page
140) or turning off power to the device.
Failure to do so may corrupt the data in the USB flash drive or cause the device to mal-
function.
