Check STD 

This is used to check  the status (sensitivity) of the instrument after an unknown 

sample measurement. 

When the sample name is set to “Check STD”, the following screen appears. 

Enter  the  concentration  and  sample  volume  of  standard  mercury  solution  to  be 

measured using “Check STD”, and click “OK”. 

* To enter a standard value, click the “Direct Inlet” button in the lower left part, and it 

will be possible to enter a mercury quantity directly. 

 

 

 

5.4.2.1. 

START 

Click 

  to start a measurement. 

After a measurement  starts,  the  solenoid lock  operates  as safety  measures and it  is 

impossible to open the inlet until the completion of the measurement. 

During a measurement, the status display lamp blinks at intervals of 0.1 sec. 

Also, the following window will pop up. 

 

*  The same operation can be done by pressing “F5” key. 

 

5.4.2.2. 

STOP 

When 

  is clicked, the cooling starts immediately and a measurement is suspended. 

After the cooling is completed, the solenoid lock is disabled and it is possible to open 

the inlet. 

*    The same operation can be done by pressing “F5” and “Shift” keys at the same time.
