Loosen the two screws fixing the thermocouple for the H1 using the supplied
dedicated driver until the thermocouple can be moved.

By using the supplied dedicated driver, it is possible to access the screws directly
through the holes in the upper part.

While pressing the thermocouple against the sample heating tube, tighten the two
fixing screws to fix the thermocouple.

Fix the boat in/out rod using the screw.

(17)

With the solenoid lock to lock the boat in/out rod pushed up, turn the boat in/out rod
clockwise while pushing it in lightly.

When the sample heating tube has been replaced with a new one, clear
“Combustion Tube Usage” of the GLP counter.
For details, refer to “5.6.2 GLP Counter”.
