Instruction Manual: Thermal Vaporization Mercury Analyzer MA-3

Warning

 

 

When touching the boat in/out rod, make sure that it has been 
cooled sufficiently. 
When touching, put on protectors such as heat-resistant gloves. 
Otherwise, you may get burned. 

 

Before using a reagent, procure and administer the safety data 
sheet (SDS). 

 

(1) 

Turn the inlet knob counterclockwise while pushing up the solenoid lock locking the 
boat in/out rod. 

(2) 

Pull out the boat in/out rod. 

(3) 

Remove the screw fixing the boat in/out rod, and remove it. 

 

 

(4) 

Remove the two screws fixing the boat in/out rod, and replace or clean it. 

 

(5) 

To clean it, cut and remove the O-ring, soak the metal part in nitric acid of 1 w/v% 
or less, and carry out ultrasonic cleaning or leave it for 30 minutes. 
After the cleaning, rinse it using pure water, dry it sufficiently and then attach a new 
O-ring to the groove. 

(6) 

Tighten the two screws to fix the boat in/out rod. 

* Care about the direction of the boat in/out rod. 

(7) 

Fix the boat in/out rod using the screw.

pushing up the solenoid lock manually.
