The instrument check is made.
For each item, “OK” or “NG” is displayed when the result is good or bad, respectively.
Check items, standards and measures against “NG” are as follows:

Backside Filter - Clean the rear filter.
Dehumidifier -
Dispose of effluent in the drain
bottle.
Humidifier -
Pour pure water into the
humidification bottle.
Flow Adjust
The range of 0.18 to 0.22 L/min. is
kept for 20 sec.
Adjust the flow rate using the flow
adjustment valve. Flow rate can’t
be adjusted with the flow
adjustment valve, please refer to
“6.6.1 Leak Check”.
V1 V2 Close
The flow rate becomes 0.05
L/min. or less within 10 sec. from
the start of the flow rate check.
* The flow rate check starts after
10 sec.
Make sure whether or not the cap
of the drain bottle has been
closed.
V1 Open
The flow rate is 0.18 to 0.22
L/min. 10 sec. after the start of the
flow rate check
* The flow rate check starts after
10 sec.
The V1 may be clogged.
Replace the valve V1.
V2 Open
The flow rate is 0.18 to 0.22
L/min. 10 sec. after the start of the
flow rate check
* The flow rate check starts after
10 sec.
The V2 may be clogged.
Replace the valve V2.
V3 Open
Is the humidification bottle
bubbling?
Make sure whether the inlet has
been closed or not and whether
any pipe has been disconnected
or not.
SIG 3.5 - 4.5 V
When the absorption cell is dirty,
clean it.
After checking the cell, adjust the
optical system.
REF 3.5 - 4.5 V
