88R EQ
There are 4 rotary controls for controlling the EQ, from left to right - LO,
Mid1, Mid2, and HI.

Change the EQ Cut and Boost by rotating the associated encoders.

The frequencies of these four controls are selected by pushing and
holding whilst turning the related encoders. As you do this, the on-screen
graphics will reflect the movement, and the associated frequency display
will be updated.

To switch the LF EQ between Shelf and Peak modes hold Encoder 1
and press
F1
. The on-screen switch LED above the LF control will light
when in Shelf mode.
Encoder 1 has additional functionality as it toggles between controlling the
LO frequency and the hi-pass (HP) filter frequency -

To switch in the Hi-Pass Filter, hold Encoder 1 and press
F2
. Now
rotate Encoder 1 to switch on the HP by moving the setting away from
OFF
. The red on-screen LED will light when hi-pass is active. Also
Encoder 1's on-screen pot will change colour from black to dark blue.
Once hi-pass is active press and hold then turn Encoder 1 to change the
hi-pass frequency.

To return to controlling the LO frequency hold Encoder 1 and press
F2
to toggle back. The on-screen pot will change back to black.

To switch the HI EQ between Shelf and Peak modes hold Encoder 4
and press
F4
. The on-screen switch LED above the HI control will light
when in Shelf mode.

The EQ can also be controlled with the mouse. Left-click over an
encoder and move the mouse up and down to change the cut/boost level.
Right-click and move the mouse up and down to change the frequency.
Click on the peak button/LED to toggle the Peak/Shelf switch. Double-
clicking on the hi-pass symbol (next to the red LED indicator) toggles
between controlling the LO frequency and the hi-pass filter (HP),
equivalent to holding Encoder 1 and pressing
F2
.
When the
EQ
button is selected, it will bring up the last EQ used on
screen.

Using the
t
&
u
buttons on the Monitor panel or the single-pressing
the channel
SEL
buttons, select the channel you want to control. The
selected path will be displayed.
