214 Terminal Settings
Use 80 Column Font
Factory default: Unchecked
This option specifies which font to use when the
Display Columns
option is set to
132
. When unchecked, a narrow font will be used so
that all 132 columns are visible in the window. When checked, only
80 columns will be visible using the normal font, with the remaining
columns stored off-screen. You can scroll horizontally to view the
hidden columns by holding down the
Ctrl key and pressing the Left
or Right Cursor keys.
Status Line
Factory default: Unavailable
This option determines whether or not the 25th screen line is used as
a status line when TeemTalk is in any DEC VT terminal emulation
mode. When
Unavailable
or
Host Writable
is selected, the host can
write application-specific messages to the 25th line. Selecting
None
will prevent this.
Memory Rows
Factory default: 144
This option determines the number of text rows that are stored in
memory. This can be set from 0 to 528 rows by default. The
Display
Rows
option specifies the number of memory rows that can be
viewed in the workspace at any one time.
Memory Page Size
Factory default: 24
When TeemTalk is in VT420 mode, the display memory of 144 lines
can be divided into several pages, up to a maximum of six pages of
24 lines each. The setting of this option determines the number of
lines on a page and therefore how many pages are available. Note
that the page size can be larger than the
Display Rows
setting, in
which case you can scroll the page up or down in the window by
holding down the
Ctrl key and pressing the Up or Down Cursor
