Creating an HP 700-92/96 Emulation Session

Click

Finish

A TeemTalk session with the name specified in step 2 will be
created and listed in the

Start

Programs

menu under

Neoware

TeemTalk

. A shortcut icon will also be created on the desktop if

requested.

The HP 700-92/96 emulation is configured using the

HP Settings

dialog. This is displayed in the TeemTalk emulator window by
selecting

HP 700-92/96...

in the

Settings

menu. Refer to the section

“HP 700-92/96 Settings” on page 145 for details.

Using the TeemTalk
Emulator Window

This section describes the basic procedure for creating an HP 700-
92/96 emulation session from the TeemTalk emulator window.

Display the

Settings

menu from the menu bar and select

Emulation...

to display the

Emulation Settings

dialog.

Select

HP70092

in the

Alpha Emulation

list box, then click

Display the

Settings

menu again and select

HP 700-92/96...

display the

HP Settings

dialog.

Select the required

Terminal ID

setting:

70092

(default),

2392A

2622A

Click

to accept the settings and close the dialog.

Display the

File

menu and select

New Connection...

to display

the

New Connection

dialog.

Specify the settings required to connect to the host. Refer to the
chapter “Host Connection Settings” on page 55 for details.

Click the

Connect

button to make TeemTalk attempt to connect

to the host with the supplied settings.

The HP 700-92/96 emulation is configured using the

HP Settings

dialog. This is displayed by selecting

HP 700-92/96...

in the

Settings

menu. Refer to the section “HP 700-92/96 Settings” on

page 145 for details.

You can save the session settings by selecting

Save Session

Save

Session As

in the

File

menu.
