The Hotspot Editor

Specifying Control Characters

You can specify a control character either as the control key charac-
ter equivalent or as an ASCII decimal value.

For example, the control character

CR

(carriage return) can be spec-

ified using the characters

^M

, representing the keys

Ctrl

+

M

,

which when pressed together would generate the

CR

code.

An ASCII decimal value would be entered as a three-digit number
immediately preceded by an underscore character. For example, the
carriage return character

CR

would be represented as
