This chapter describes features of the Viewdata emulation.

Creating a Viewdata Emulation Session

Using the TeemTalk
Connection Wizard

This section describes the basic procedure for creating a Viewdata
emulation session using the TeemTalk Connection Wizard.

Run the TeemTalk Connection Wizard from the

Start

menu by

selecting

Programs

>

Neoware TeemTalk

>

Configure Ses-

sion

. The

Connection Information

dialog will be displayed.

In the

Connection Name

box, enter a name that will identify

this session configuration for future selection.

Select the

Viewdata

setting with the required display format in

the

Emulation

list box:

Viewdata 40

Displays a single Viewdata page of 40 columns and 24 lines.

Viewdata 80

Displays a single Viewdata page of 80 columns and 24 lines.

Viewdata Split

Displays two Viewdata pages side by side, each consisting of
40 columns and 24 lines. Receipt of a ’Clear Screen’ command
will move the text cursor to the home position of the opposite
page and its contents will be erased ready for the next page.
