Creating a Viewdata Emulation Session

Host Information

dialog.

If you would like the session to be displayed on the desktop as

A TeemTalk session with the name specified in step 2 will be
created and listed in the

Start

menu under

Neoware

TeemTalk

. A shortcut icon will also be created on the desktop if

requested.

Using the TeemTalk
Emulator Window

This section describes the basic procedure for creating a Viewdata
emulation session from the TeemTalk emulator window.

Display the

Settings

menu from the menu bar and select

Emula-

tion...

to display the

Emulation Settings

dialog.

Select the

Viewdata

setting with the required display format in

the

Emulation

list box:

Viewdata 40

Displays a single Viewdata page of 40 columns and 24 lines.

Viewdata 80

Displays a single Viewdata page of 80 columns and 24 lines.

Viewdata Split

Displays two Viewdata pages side by side, each consisting of 40
columns and 24 lines. Receipt of a ’Clear Screen’ command will
move the text cursor to the home position of the opposite page
and its contents will be erased ready for the next page.
