Wiring of the Ignition Sensor Unit (ISU) 

In order to transfer the ignition pulse of the first cylinder in the firing order to the ignition input 
of the DetCon, the ignition sensor unit (ISU) is installed between the ignition output of the first 
cylinder and the primary side of the ignition coil of the first cylinder. The jumper with the 
designation

 Load Resistance

 must not have been removed.

The jumper 

Load Resistance

 changes the input resistance of the ignition 

input.

It is on the upper left of the device 

. 

 

  

If not all cylinders are fitted with detonation sensors, the ignition sensor unit is mounted on the 
cylinder on which the first detonation sensor is mounted.
