Installing the Analyzer

Performing the Calibration

1.

Turn the Pressure Control knob clockwise to set the regulator pressure at 21.500 psig 
(low-pressure gauge).

2.

Remove the sample chamber cap and place an empty cup into the sample chamber; 
replace the cap.

3.

Press 

AlT

 function; accept the default (

If

 is not displayed, press

 to display it.

4.

The value recorded on the case for a 10-cm

 pycnometer is the sum of the two standards, 

and on a 350-cm

3

 pycnometer, the sum of the three standards.

Wear rubber gloves whenever handling cups, standards, or inserts. Oil from your 
fingers may contaminate the surface and affect results.
