Testing Rem ote Control
Checking B atteries
If transm it button M B or B?B is
pressed longer than 1 second, the
battery indicator lamp in the tra n s­
m itter eye (1) briefly illum inates -
indicating that the batteries are in
order.
Change batteries if the indicator
lamp does not com e on.
Changing B atteries
Unfold key from holder by pressing
lock button (2). Pull off battery
cover (3).
C hange batteries, inserting new
ones with plus (+) side facing up.
Press battery cover onto housing
until locked in place.
Im portant!
Batteries contain m aterials that can
harm the environm ent if disposed
of im properly. R ecycling of batte­
ries is the preferred m ethod of d is­
posal. For disposal, please follow
m anufacturer’s recom m endation
on battery package.
R eplacem ent battery:
Lithium, type CR 2025 or
equivalent.
S ychronizing System
To synchronize system , aim trans­
m itter eye (1) at vehicle and briefly
press transm it button H H or g *B
twice. W ithin approx. 30 seconds,
insert key in steering lock and turn
it to position 2.
The rem ote control should once
again be operational.
