The w ebbing m ust not be treated
with chem ical cleaning agents. Use
only clear, lukewarm w ater and
soap. Do not dry the w ebbing at
tem peratures above 176°F (80°C)
or in direct sunlight.
Seat Belts

belts as this may severely
w eaken them . In a crash they
may not be able to provide
adequate protection.

Pour M ercedes-Benz approved
Interior Care onto soft lint-free cloth
and apply with light pressure.
Instrum ent Cluster
Use a gentle dishw ashing d eter­
gent o r mild detergent for delicate
fabrics as a washing solution. W ipe
with a cloth moistened in lukewarm
solution. Do not use scouring
agents.
Steering W heel and
G ear S electo r Lever
W ipe with a dam p cloth and
dry thoroughly or clean with
M ercedes-Benz approved Leather
Care.
U pholstery
Using afterm arket seat covers or
w earing clothing that have the
tendency to give off coloring (e.g.
when w et etc.) m ay cause the
upholstery to becom e perm anently
discolored. By lining the seats with
a proper interm ediate cover,
contact-discoloration will be
prevented.
W ipe leather upholstery with a
dam p cloth and dry thoroughly or
clean with M ercedes-Benz ap­
proved Leather Care. Exercise
particular care w hen cleaning
perforated leather as its underside
should not becom e wet.
Paintw ork, Painted Body
C om ponents
M ercedes-Benz approved Paint
Care should be applied when
w ater drops on the paint surface do
not “bead up”; norm ally in 3 to
5 m onths, depending on clim ate
and washing detergent used.
M ercedes-Benz approved Paint
C leaner should be applied if paint
surface shows signs of dirt em bed­
ding (i.e. loss of gloss).
Do not apply any of these products
or w ax if your car is parked in the
sun or if the hood is still hot.
Use the appropriate M B-Touch-Up
Stick fo r quick and provisional
repairs of m inor paint dam age (i.e.
chips from stones, car doors, etc.).
Light A lloy W heels
M ercedes-Benz approved W heel
C are should be used for regular
cleaning of the light alloy wheels.
If possible, clean w heels once a
w eek with M ercedes-Benz ap­
proved W heel Care, using a soft
bristle brush and a strong spray of
water.
Follow instructions on container.
Note:
Use only acid-free cleaning
m aterials. The acid could lead to
corrosion.
