10. W ith rear section of roof (5) in
a vertical position, place hands
on rear section of roof as
shown, and guide pins (6) of
roof front section into
w indshield frame.
W arning!
Do not place your hands in
areas m arked X. Serious
personal injury m ay occur.
11. R em ove cap from headliner.
To close hardtop:
Insert hex-socket w rench and
turn clockw ise (7) to its stop.
To lock hardtop:
Turn w rench counterclockw ise
(8) to its stop.
12. C lose trun k lid by placing flat
hands near edges (arrows).
Notes:
The rear quarter w indow s cannot
be closed.
Have the hardtop operation
checked at your authorized
M ercedes-Benz dealer as soon
as possible.
