Setting up your Lomond printer

Page 40 of 106

If you still cannot communicate with your printer, contact support personnel.

The installer will then load the drivers into your PC, then check and update the printer
firmware if necessary.

The firmware in the selected printer is now checked. If the firmware is older than the one
that came with your driver software, you will be given the option to update it. Check with
support personnel before doing so.

If you decided to update the printer firmware, the following window will be displayed:

Follow the directions. This process may take a few minutes. A progress bar is displayed
to keep you informed, as shown here.
