VLAN Port Configuration
Selection Criteria
Interface
- Select the physical interface for which you want to display or configure data. Select 'All' to
set the parameters for all ports to same values.
Configurable Data
Port VLAN ID
- Specify the VLAN ID you want assigned to untagged or priority tagged frames
received on this port. The value ranges (1 to 4093). The factory default is 1 .
Acceptable Frame Types
- Specify how you want the port to handle untagged and priority tagged
frames. If you select 'AdmitTaggedOnly', the port will discard any untagged or priority tagged frames
it receives. If you select 'AdmitUntaggedOnly', the port discard tagged frames it receives. If you select
'Admit All', untagged and priority tagged frames received on the port will be accepted and assigned
the value of the Port VLAN ID for this port. Whichever you select, VLAN tagged frames will be
forwarded in accordance with the IEEE 802.1Q VLAN standard. The factory default is 'Admit All'.
Ingress Filtering
- Specify how you want the port to handle tagged frames. If you enable Ingress
Filtering on the pull-down menu, a tagged frame will be discarded if this port is not a member of the
VLAN identified by the VLAN ID in the tag. If you select disable from the pull-down menu, all tagged
frames will be accepted. The factory default is disable.
Port Priority
- Specify the default 802.1p priority assigned to untagged packets arriving at the port.
The value ranges from (0 to 7) .Default value is 0.

- Update the switch with the values on the screen. If you want the switch to retain the new
values across a power cycle you must perform a save.
