Chapter 4—Hardware and Maintenance Repairs

Gently move the power supply out of the server.

4.9.2 Installing the Power Supply

Orient the power supply and insert it into the server.

Insert the power supply into the opening at the rear of the chassis.

Align the holes in the power supply with the holes in the chassis.

4. Insert the four power-supply screws and tighten.

Reconnect the internal cables from the power supply to the system board and
drives.

Return the side cover. See

Returning the Side Cover

on page 94.

Reconnect all external cables and power cords, and turn on the server.
