How the IP addresses and ports are set up in the SN90 to transmit data from the
Processor Unit to an external computer

Local IP Address
This IP address is unessential, unless you have more than one Ethernet adapter in
your Processor Unit. You must then specify the IP address of the Ethernet adapter
you wish to use.

Remote IP Address
If you wish to set up data broadcast to all peripherals on the system, select Remote
IP Address
255.255.255.255 .
If your transmission is directly aimed at a particular recipient, you must specify
its IP address.

Local Port
The value of the Local Port is unessential, and you do not need to specify a value
other than the default.

Remote Port
The SN90 software uses this network port to transmit information. The application
on the remote computer will "listen" to this port number. You must then access the
application on the remote computer to set up its local port to match.

Local IP Address
This IP address is unessential. If you have only one Ethernet adapter, you must use
the default value provided. If you have more than one Ethernet adapter in your
Processor Unit, or if you use an Ethernet adapter with multiple IP addresses, you
must specify the IP address of the adapter you wish to use.

Remote IP Address
When you wish to receive data, this IP address is unessential.

Local Port
This port must match the port number on the remote computer. To find the port
number on the remote computer, consult the documentation for the software
application you are using. If the data communication on the remote computer is set
up to only
transmit information, this parameter is not required.

Remote Port
If you set up your SN90 to receive data, this port is unessential. Keep the Remote
Port default value.
