3) Check that TOP mark arrow (A) on cover (5) is point-

ing upward.

4) When the cover (5) is installed, check that the clear-

ance between air cleaner body (7) and cover (5) is not
too large.
If the clearance is too large, remove the cover (5), and
then install it again.

15. Press the button of dust indicator and return the red piston

to the original position.

NOTICE
Replace both inner and outer elements when the dust
indicator indicates red soon after cleaning the outer el-
ement even though it has not been cleaned 5 times
yet.

16. Close the engine rear cover.
