14-3. Power Supply Unit
14-3-1. Structure of Power Supply Unit
The power supply unit is mounted at the center of the rear of the machine. Figure 14-3-1-1 shows
the structure drawing of the power supply unit.
The power supply unit is composed of DC power supplies, control relays, and circuit protectors, and
designed to supply the AC and DC power to the units (control unit, X-Y unit, Z-
θ
unit, transport
unit, and head unit.)
The following shows the application of each DC power supply.
-12V (-12V
±
0.1V, PS4):
For serial communication of RS-232C and servo driver
+3.3V (+3.3V
±
0.1V, PS5):
For CPU board and XMP board (motion control)
+5V (+5.15V to 5.2V, PS2):
For logic circuits of all circuit boards and lighting of LED
(VCS coaxial downward light only)
+24V (+24
±
0.1V, PS1):
For driving of relays, solenoid valves, stepping motors,
sensors, laser devices, and signal light lamps
+12V (+12
±
0.1V, PS7):
For camera, serial communication, and lighting of LED
(except for VCS coaxial downward light)
+24V (+24
±
0.1V, PS3):
For driving of safety circuit (EN machine only)
+6V (+6.3V to 6.5V, PS6):
For controlling of feeder (stacking, 32mm-paper tape) and
changing of rear monitor

•
The DC power output voltage is to be adjusted on the CN019 of the power supply unit.
•
Pull out PSU BLACKET A and PSU BLACKET B, and adjust the output voltage variable
change volume knob of each DC power supply so that the output voltage of the DC power
supply is the specification value.
Note 1. Carefully adjust the variable resistor so that the voltage value does not exceed the
specified adjustment level.
Note 2. Never connect CN019-17 and 18 pins to the GND line of a power supply unit other
than that to be adjusted.
Note 3. PS3 is a DC power supply for the EN specifications mounted on the POWER UNIT
(EN) and is not mounted on the POWER UNIT.
