14-4-1-3. Connector Markers on the Control Unit
The marker indication of the connector connected to the boards listed on Table 14-4-1-1 for the
control unit should be as shown below.

14-4-2. CPU Board
Note
As the production of the CPU board (ACP-125J manufactured by AVAL DATA) is
discontinued, ACP-128J manufactured by AVAL DATA is used as an alternative
part. In this case, it is required to change the data in the HDD in addition to
replacement of the CPU board.
Follow the steps stated in the Instruction Manual for Replacement of CPU Board
(ACP-125J
→
ACP-128J) to replace the CPU board.
[Functions]
This is a circuit board that controls the equipment totally.
This circuit board is connected to other circuit boards by the VME bus through the CPCI bus and
bus bridge.
[Jumper switch settings]
This CPU board is used with the jumper switch settings made before shipment.
[Meaning of LED]
PW: Lights up when the power is supplied.
[Adjustment items after replacement]
After the CPU board has been replaced, it may be required to set up the BIOS. Make the
settings while referring to section 13-5-3, Setting Up the BIOS.
[Replacement of battery]
A backup battery is mounted on the CPU board to save the BIOS settings.
Generally, replace this battery with a new one once every five years.
After the battery has been replaced, it is absolutely required to set up the BIOS.
