Marking and black dots are provided on each connector. The number of dots
indicates its head number.
You can mount the head on the top or bottom of the unit. The upper hole is for a
machine with the component height of 20 mm; the lower hole is for one with the
component height of 12 mm.
(11) After the head has been replaced, it is necessary to input the MS parameters. For details, see
section 2-9.
Note) Shims are put between the head and head plate (at the upper and lower positions).
These shims are used to adjust the deviation in position between the left and right heads in
the Y-direction.
Even if you remount the head, which has been detached, or mount another new head, use the
same shims, which have been used, or another ones of the same thickness.
Stick the shim on the head plate with a very small quantity of grease, and then mount the
head.
