Also at the bottom of the display you can see the Free
processing resource counter. This shows the number of Input
DSP channels available; in our example, we have 56 Input DSP
resources remaining:
Remember that Input faders do not use any DSP resource until
they are patched from the
PATCH IN
display.
The Input DSP resource is also represented by a row of boxes
above faders 01 to 48:
•
A yellow box indicates DSP is assigned to the fader. In
our example, Input faders 1 to 32 are all marked with the
yellow DSP resource box.
•
A grey box indicates no Input DSP resource. You will
see this on faders assigned to a mix bus or VCA, or on
Input faders which have not been patched.
Within all
PATCH
grids, you can view connections either to the
48 desk faders or 48 Smart Panel controllers:
