Eclipse User Guide

Slave Parameters (XBus)

You can now control the component channels (Left, Right,
Centre and Mono) just as if they were normal Output channels:

1.

The VU meter shows the level of the Output channel.

2.

Turn the rotary control to adjust Gain, Pan or Trim:

•

Gain adjusts the output gain available on a UM8

processed output.

•

Trim is available on inserted floating DSP.

•

Pan – this will reduce or offset the image of the stereo or

LCR Aux.

3.

Press

MUTE

to mute the channel.

4.

Move the fader to adjust the level.

5.

Press

CUE

to cue the channel.

6.

Press the

SEL

button to assign the Output channel to

the Selected Channel and adjust processing:

Remember signal processing will only be available if the mix
bus channel is patched to a UM-8PO or FM-8VB output, or if
processing has been inserted. See Page 151 for details.
