Eclipse User Guide

Routing to a Stereo or LCR Bus

When you route mono channels to a stereo or LCRM Aux,
Group or Master, bus assignments are made to

all

component

channels - in other words, you cannot route a channel

only

to

Master Left and not to Master Right.

However for Auxes and Groups, you can set the mix bus send
to be independent of the main channel pan. So, for example,
you could route the mono channel with Independent panning in
order to pan it only to the Left or Right. See Page 142.

When you route stereo or LCRM busses to each other, then
component channels are routed one-to-one, or summed, as
shown below:

Note that on Auxes and Groups (but not Masters), you can
adjust the pan position of the component channels – for
example, to offset the stereo image of the mix to the left or right.
