10. Press the release latches and pull the backplane out of the server.
To replace the hard disk drive backplane, reverse the previous steps, making sure
to place the backplane assembly over the two guide pins on the chassis floor.
Power supply cage assembly
Complete the following steps to remove the power supply cage assembly.

1. Turn off the server.
2. Disconnect all external cables and power cords from the back of the server.
3. Remove the adapter-support bracket. See “Center-fan and adapter-support
bracket” on page 67 for instructions.
4. Disconnect all power-supply cable from the system board (J4), hard disk drive
backplane, and other backplanes or devices.
