the battery. To turn it on, tap the ink tip once on the digital
notepad, which is not recorded as an ink stroke. It is good
practice to “wake up” the pen by tapping it once before you
start writing notes to ensure that all of your first word is
recorded.

Problem: When I look at my notes in Ink Manager Pro, some of my
notes appear on top of other notes.
When writing on your digital notepad, you might have forgotten
to tap Page Forward to move to a new page, and the program
super-imposed one page on the next. You can quickly separate the
overwritten pages into two individual pages. To do this, open the
page in Current Notepad view, and select Edit > Edit Original
Page, and then select Edit > Fix Overwritten Ink. See Chapter 4:

Problem: I want to change the appearance of my ink on the
computer screen.
You can adjust the ink width and color of your handwriting in Ink
Manager Pro. Select File > Preferences > Display. See Chapter 6:
Editing Pages for more information on changing ink appearance.
Problem: When I circle actions on the digital notepad, the marked
ink is not correct on the screen or in my lists.
This can happen for several reasons. The program captures circled
ink based on the individual "ink strokes" you used to write the
words. One ink stroke includes all the ink you write from pen-
down to pen-up. For example, using script, you might complete a
word in one ink stroke. If you print, each letter might be a separate
ink stroke. Dotting an "i" or crossing a "t" is a separate ink stroke.
