ServeRAID Configuration Information
The Main Menu offers the following choices.
Select a choice using the Up Arrow ( ) and Down Arrow ( ) keys and press Enter.
Press Esc to return to previous menu.

Ÿ Select Help for an online explanation about the choices on the
screen.
Ÿ Select View Configuration to see the existing disk-array
configuration information.
Ÿ Select Create/Delete Array/Log Drive to select the drives for an
array that you want to create or delete. This choice also allows
you to define and delete logical drives, and define and undefine
hot-spare drives.
Note: You can define a maximum of eight arrays and eight
logical drives per adapter.
Ÿ Select Initialize/Synchronize Log Drive after creating an array:
– Initialize Logical Drive: You must select this choice to set
the logical drive to a predetermined value. Any data
existing on the drive is overwritten with zeros.
You can choose to initialize more than one logical drive at a
time. You can interrupt the initialization process at any
time by pressing the Esc key. Then, you can either restart
