Preparing a Dry Contact Monitoring Cable

The method for preparing a dry contact monitoring cable is similar to the method

for preparing an RS485 monitoring cable. Prepare cord end terminals on both ends

of each required cable core based on the number of dry contacts.

7.3 Preparing Load Cables

Context

The cables from the power distribution unit to the cabinet rPDU are not

prefabricated and need to be prepared onsite.

Procedure

Step 1 Prepare cables.

1. Strip a cable.

in the three-phase scenario is the same as that in the single-phase scenario.
