● Reclaim or dispose of the refrigerant in accordance with local laws and
regulations. Do not discharge the refrigerant to the atmosphere.
● When replacing a compressor, avoid skin contact with the refrigerant or
lubricant to prevent frostbite or burns.
● Do not tilt the compressor during replacement to prevent lubricant
leakage.
● Install a new compressor immediately after you remove the rubber plugs
of the suction inlet and exhaust outlet to prevent the moisture
.
Procedure
Step 1 Open the rear door. Remove the filters, and switch off the general power input
breaker QF1 and compressor circuit breaker QF3.
Step 2 Reclaim the refrigerant by referring to the position and methods for vacuumizing
in 5.2.3 Vacuumizing.
Step 3 Remove the compressor heat tape.
Step 4 Use a Phillips screwdriver to open the outer cover of the power distribution box.
And remove the cables from the compressor.
Step 5 Clamp the suction corner valve with 45# adjustable wrench, and use other two
adjustable wrenches (50# and 45#) to remove the suction pipe from the
compressor. Seal the suction openings to ensure that the system is clean and does
not draw in moisture.
Step 6 Clamp the discharge corner valve with 45# adjustable wrench, and use other two
45# adjustable wrenches to remove the discharge pipe from the compressor. Seal
the discharge openings to ensure that the system is clean and does not draw in
moisture.
Step 7 Use a 13# solid wrench or socket wrench to remove the four bolts from the
compressor base and remove the base and compressor, as shown in
