Configuring the CAN/LIN Definition Data
Settings
This chapter describes how to set definition data for displaying CAN/LIN signals as waveforms. In
CAN measurement mode, loading a DBC file or a CDF file can choose CAN definition data. In LIN
measurement mode, loading a LDF file, which stands for LIN description file, can choose LIN definition
data.

Signal
Allows you to enter a signal name for the data concerned.
Number of characters that can be entered: up to 32
2
ID
Allows you to enter a message ID, in hexadecimal notation (p. 297), of a
message that includes data you wish to allocate to a channel.
Both 11-bit base IDs and 29-bit extended IDs are supported.
