Saving Data
4
Enter a folder name in the
[Folder name]
box.
If you wish to choose a destination folder, enter a folder name. If you leave the box blank, the instrument will
sort files into folders based on the file type.
•
Folder name: up to 32 characters
5
Tap the
[Serial number]
, and then from the list, choose a format of sequential number to be
added to folder/file names.
Previous
Prefixes a sequential number to each folder/file name.
Tail
Suffixes a sequential number to each folder/file name.
Auto
Saves folders/files without sequential numbers. Suffixes a sequential number to each
folder/file name if a folder/file with the same name has already existed.
6
Tap the
[Type]
box, and then choose a save format from the list.
Waveform
(Binary)
Saves waveform data in binary format.
Choose this option to reload the waveforms into the instrument.
Waveform (Text)
Saves waveform data in text format.
Choose this option to load the waveforms with a computer.
Waveform (MDF)
Saves waveform data in MDF format.
Choose this option to load the data using an MDF-capable waveform viewer installed
in a computer.
Waveform (Float)
Saves waveform data in binary format (32-bit floating point).
Choose this option to load the waveforms with a computer.
Screen image
Saves screenshots.
The data saved can be viewed on a computer with image viewing software.
Numerical
calculation result
Saves numerical calculation results.
Setting
Saves the present measurement conditions.
Arbitrary
waveform
Saves arbitrary waveform data.
Program
Saves a waveform generation program.
CAN text
Saves CAN frame data in text format.
7
Tap the
[Channel]
box, and then choose an option for channels to be saved.
When
[Type]
is set to
[Waveform (Binary)]
or
[Waveform (Text)]
All
Saves data acquired across all measured channels (channels with measurement set
to
[On]
).
Saves the data acquired across the channels with the display setting set to
[Off]
.
Display
Saves data acquired across the channels with the display setting set to
[On]
on all
sheets.
8
Tap the
[Range]
box, and then choose an option for the save range from the list.
When
[Type]
is set to
[Waveform (Binary)]
or
[Waveform (Text)]
All
Saves all data written in the memory.
Segment 1
Saves data in the section between section cursors
[1A]
and
[1B]
.
Segment 2
Saves data in the section between section cursors
[2A]
and
[2B]
.
The instrument saves data acquired across the channels displayed on the screen.
See “2.2 Specifying the Waveform Range (Section Cursor)” (p. 34).
When no target section cursors are set, whole data is saved regardless of the
[Segment 1]
or
[Segment 2]
setting.
