Settings
Pre-Trigger You can record not only
waveforms that appear after a
start trigger has been activated,
but also those that appear before
the trigger is activated.
Setting of timing:

The pre-trigger and post-trigger are expressed as a percentage of the recording length
(unit: percent).
• Setting all the trigger sources (including analog and interval triggers) to [Off] disables pre-trigger
and post-trigger settings.
• The setting of the recording length or the recording time is prioritized over the post-trigger setting.
Example
When the recording length is set at10,000 points and the post-trigger length at 30%, and
the stop trigger is activated after the instrument measures 8000 points of waveforms,
the instrument records only 2000 points of the waveforms after the stop trigger has been
activated.
