Main Menu => Setup-Menu => Service-Parameter:
This menu level is reserved for the Heinzinger service technician. The improper change of these pa-
rameters can lead to device malfunctions and even device damage. Access is protected by a password
Battery Models (optional)
If an output channel is working in the function mode "battery simulation", the test bench energy
system uses this channel to simulate the behavior of a battery.
The user can select one of the four available models and configure the parameters for the simulated
equivalent circuit. The following setting ranges apply to the parameters (the values for R2 and C are
not used for battery model 4):

Cluster Operation (optional)
Description
Two ERS devices of the same type, which are set up in close proximity to each other, can be intercon-
nected with the optional cluster operation function to increase current and power.
For this purpose the two systems are operated in a master/slave configuration.
This means that the master device takes control of the slave device and operation is only possible via
the terminal or via the remote interface of the master device.
