Manual ERS-BIC 160 kW V2.1
43
The menu is password protected. The password is hard coded and cannot be changed by the operator
via the screen. Unless otherwise specified, the password is the same as the general commissioning
password
Pressing {B} first displays the password entry screen. The password must be entered digit by digit.
The current position of the entry is marked by {
˰
}. The number can be increased by pressing {+/ }.
{ OK/
▶
} confirms the digit and the marker jumps forward one digit. If the fourth digit is confirmed
and the entered password is correct, the change to the service menu takes place, but {OK/
▶
} remains
blocked for approx. 1s afterwards. If the password is wrong, 0000 is displayed again and the entry
can be made again. The input screen can also be left via {ESC/
◀
}.
In the service menu, the currently changeable setting is marked with [>]. With {+/ } or {-/
▼
} you
can switch between the different settings. The different operating modes can be switched on or off
with { OK/
▶
}. If a setting is active, this is indicated with [>ON]. If [VALVE-OVERRIDE] is overridden
for 10 minutes, [>ON] is also displayed on the same line until the lock is automatically reset.
After you have connected the power supply, put the side panel back in place and switch on the
ERS.
Go to the COM page in the service menu after the sys-
tem has booted and make the following settings:
▬
Deactivation of the undervoltage moni-
toring.
▬
Set the minimum value of the DC link
voltage to 20 V.
Now switch on the auxiliary power supply and set the
voltages according to
Table 20, p. 44
. (start value
24V). The two HTS modules are now supplied with the
external voltage.
▬
In the commissioning menu check the
voltage V-sec, which must be the same
as the supplied voltage
In the next step the two output channels are parameterized and then switched on. For this pur-
pose, first check on the display of the ERS under Setup/Channel Parameters that both channels are
set to function type Battery Test.
In the main menu set the set
points for voltage, current, power,
control mode and operating modes
according to step one of the fol-
lowing set point
Table 20 p. 44
.
(1) Activate the channel with con-
trol mode CV, switch on the out-
put contactors and then activate
“Charge” => The output voltage
must rise to the set point.
Now change to the channel with
control mode CC and switch on the
output contactors and activate
“Discharge”. => Now the set cur-
rent must flow.
Check the current distribution of
the IGBT's during the internal
measurements. The current must
be evenly distributed over the IG-
BTs. If a channel remains at 0
A, switch off the system immediately and contact the service of
Heinzinger electronic.
