SET UP AND START UP
CAUTION
Risk of crushing from heavy loads! Wear safety shoes when transporting and installing the
device!
General/Scope of Delivery
Due to its size, the device is transported in several segments. It consists of three / four individual
modules that are connected to each other at the installation site. These are:
Mains/AFE cabinet with transformer and converters (1200x1960x800)
HTS-Cabinet with output channels (1200x1960x800)
Devices with protection class IP 54 are approx. 10
cm higher due to additional roof mounted fans
Furthermore the delivery contains:
Accessory package (see
Appendix D, Reference List Accessories, p. 99
)
Plinth panels
Cables for parallel connection of the output channel (x2)

Unpacking the Unit
WARNING
Under no circumstances put the device into operation if it is visibly damaged!
The ERS is delivered in wooden boxes or with direct packaging with light packaging. Control if any of
the attached shock or tilt indicators have been triggered. Remove the packaging and lift the device
segments from the transport pallets.
Check whether the scope of delivery (see above) is complete
Set-up the device at the intended location with the necessary care. The floor must have a load-
bearing capacity of at least 1000
kg/m
²
. Make sure that the following requirements for the environ-
ment are met.
Environmental Conditions
When choosing the installation site, make sure that the specified device environment conditions are
observed (see
Chapter 3, pp. 9).
Especially too high ambient temperatures (T
e
: + 5°C to 40°C) too
high air humidity (rel. humidity max. = 70%, non-condensing) and excessive accumulation of dust and
dirt near the device must be avoided, as this can cause the device damaged or its application impaired.
