Before connecting, remove the covers on the terminals.Then run the connecting cable through the
cut-out in the base plate and mount it with the appropriate eyelets (M10) on the connecting lugs of
the terminals.
When connecting, make sure that the contact surfaces are smooth and tighten the nuts with a
torque of 44Nm.
Relieve the cable on the support rail on the cabinet floor from stress. Make sure, that the shield
contacts a large area to ensure the best possible shielding.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock! After installation, the covers must be completely installed again over
the live parts!
Connection of External Control
Die The ERS systems are usually controlled by higher-level automation systems. They are connected
via a fieldbus interface or, for safety-relevant signals, via digital contacts (potential free).
