TVS-D660 Exciter

The TVS-D660 exciter is used with the Atlas Analogue transmitter. This exciter is
described in a separate instruction book. A second hot standby exciter, and drive chain
switcher is available as an option. The exciter is controlled by the transmitter using an
internal RS-485 serial connection. Configuration editing, diagnostics and monitoring is
possible using the front panel LCD display, or via RS-232 or Ethernet ports provided
with the exciter.

One single unit drives the Atlas Analogue transmitter. The excellent quality and
stability of analog UHF signal output maximizes the TV transmitter efficiency,
improving performance and helping to reduce operating costs.
