Sw itching FREQ
Range: 0.7~16.0kHz
Model dependent
With low er sw itching frequency, output current of the drive produces higher harmonics, motor
loss increases, and temperature and motor noise rise, but drive temperature, drive leakage
current, and drive interference to external devices are low er or less.
With higher sw itching frequency, drive temperature w ill rise, drive leakage current is bigger, and
drive interference to external devices is bigger. How ever, motor loss and noise w ill be low er,
and motor temperature w ill drop.
The table below specifies the setting range and factory default of PWM sw itching frequency of
the drives at different pow er ratings:

Tips for PWM sw itching frequency setting:
1) When the motor line is too long, reduce sw itching frequency.
2) When torque at low speed is unstable, reduce sw itching frequency.
3) If the drive produces severe interference to surrounding equipment, reduce sw itching
frequency.
4) Leakage current of the drive is big, reduce sw itching frequency.
5) Drive temperature rise is relatively high, reduce sw itching frequency.
6) Motor temperature rise is relatively high, increase sw itching frequency.
