8.7 Cabin light connection
8.8 Fan
8.9 Volt-free output
The steam generator has controllable outputs
for 2 fans. This allows to connect and operate
for instance a blower and an extractor fan.
•
Minimum power - 5W
•
Maximum power - 150 W
•
Voltage 230 V 1N AC
!
The lamp must have at least IP65 protec-
tion class and adequate heat resistance. The
lamp should not be positioned directly above
the steam outlet or within the uprising steam
flow. The control unit will detect strong induc-
tive loads and will adjust the phase edge con-
trol automatically.
!
Attention! Only dimmable illumi-
nants are permitted!
By connection of non-dimmable bulbs you can
damage the main board. The use of an unsuita-
ble bulb makes the product warranty void.
Requirement for bulbs (lamps):
•
Minimum power 5 W
•
Resistive load maximum 150W
•
Dimmable energy savers maximum 35 W
•
Bulbs on conventional transformers maxi-
mum 60 VA
Make sure to observe the max. load on the
“Aux” output - see page 53 (Service settings).
!
Attention! If you use the power supply
for terminals L1, L2 or L3 to power the circuit
connected to the Aux output, please ensure
that the cable lines do not get overloaded!
You may need to install an additional fuse
protection or install a separate power supply
line.
Volt-free output for floor and bench
heating
These outputs are permanently assigned volt-
free contact outputs. They function as de-
scribed above and may be used to switch and
control the external heating for the cabin floor
and benches.
These outputs are marked with “floor” and
“bank”.
For control of the floor and bench heating you
will need the optionally available floor and
bench temperature sensors.
The “Aux” output on the main board is a volt-
free closing contact of a relay. You can integrate
this volt-free contact in a circuit of an external
system in order to get such external system or
external load switched or transmit a signal.
8.10 Connection of the level
probe for descaling system
Connect the 2-core
white
cable at the bottom
of the steam generator to the corresponding
terminals of the included container for desca-
ling liquid.
See page 14, bottom view of the unit. The
2-core white cable is pre-mounted at the bot-
tom side. You do not need to remove the hous-
ing for connection.
By interrupted or not connected cable an error
message „decaler level low“ will be shown on
the display.
