5.5 How to open water tank
The water tank can be opened if required e.g. for servicing & maintenance as described below.
1.
Disconnect the power supply and water supply to the steam generator. Remove the housing.

Undo 6 hexagonal nuts along the
top edge of the water tank lid using
an Allen key.

Loosen 2 fixation screws at the bot-
tom panel which hold the steam pipe.

Now lift the lid up slightly, tilt
it to the right and take if off the
water tank.
8.
Close the water tank in reverse order. Place the lid back in position. Please observe to position
the sealing gasket so that its holes are lined up with the corresponding holes in the tank. Be care-
ful not to bend the deflector shield on the inner side of the lid (protects the steam exit opening).
Restore other connections (water supply, cleaner supply, water level probe).

Double check that all connections are correct and tight. Check that the water supply line is tight .

Disconnect the tube of the
descaling&cleaning system.

If required disconnect both
water supply tubes at the wa-
ter inlet valve by loosening the
clamps and pulling them off.

Disconnect the water level
probe 2-core connection ca-
ble from the main board.
