8.28 TEST INPUTS [50]
Menu > Test > Test inputs
Authorization level :
MASTER, TECHNICIAN, USER
Purpose:
This enables you to verify that the following is correctly working:
IR30WL and IRA31WL, infrared detector,
MM30WL magnetic contact detector (including the relating auxiliary Inputs),
WL31 control panel wire Inputs.
How to do it
:
1. Start the test by pressing the
OK
key; the display shows the «Test underway….» Message.
2. Afterwards stimulate each input (walk through the area protected by volume detectors, open doors and windows
equipped with opening detectors, etc.): the activation of the relating red LED indicates that the alarm has been
transmitted and the switching on of the
icon on theWL31 control panel display confirms that it has been
correctly received.
3.
Once the Inputs’ stimulation phase is finished, press the
OK
key: the display will show
“Input, theft ko”, which
contains the list of devices programmed as theft that failed to reply.
8.29 TEST - FIRE DET. [51]
Menu > Test > Test -Fire Det.
Authorization level :
MASTER, TECHNICIAN, USER
Purpose:
This enables you to verify that FO31WL smoke optical detectors and MM30WL contacts and control panel auxiliary
inputs programmed as fire are correctly working.
How to do it
:
1. Start the test by pressing the
OK
key; the display shows the «Test under
way…» message.
2. Afterwards stimulate each input (press the smoke detector TEST key for 3 seconds): the activation of the
relating red LED indicates that the alarm has been transmitted and the switching on of the
icon on the
WL31 control panel display confirms that it has been correctly received.

Once the inputs’ stimulation phase is finished, press the
OK
key: the display will show
“Fire det. ko”, which
contains the list of smoke detectors and MM30WL contacts and control panel auxiliary inputs programmed as
fire that failed to reply.
8.30 TEST OUTPUTS [52]
Menu > Test > Test Outputs
Authorization level:
MASTER, TECHNICIAN, USER
Purpose:
This enables you to verify that the following is working correctly:
HP30WL sirens,
WL31 control panel internal board,
WL31 control panel wire outputs.
How to do it
:
1. Start the test by pressing the
OK
key. The display shows the first output device.
2. Press
OK
to select it and
OK
again to activate it («Activate»): depending on the situation, the siren sound or the
relay signalling will confirm that the device is working correctly.
3. To deactivate the output («Deactivate») press the
OK
key.
4. Press the
ESC
key to go back to the list of the output devices. Select the following device using the
key
and repeat the procedure from item 2.
Remember to verify all the output devices.
